Blackburn striker Jason Roberts admits his time at Ewood Park is almost certainly over.
Roberts was left out of the squad for Rovers' recent pre-season trip to Scotland and the 32-year-old has reached a mutual agreement with the club that his future lies elsewhere.
"It looks like I will be leaving the club," Roberts told the Lancashire Telegraph.
"We have had discussions and mutually agreed it is time to move on.
"It was decided that I wouldn't be travelling with the team to Scotland and I haven't been involved in the last few games now.
"I have no preconceived ideas about what will happen next and it would be wrong to talk about anything until there is something officially happening.
"All I can say is we have reached a mutual decision where if there is a chance for me to move on then we would like to take that up. We will have to wait and see what happens."
Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce has already invited bids for Roberts, who insists he has no problem with the manager or his attempts to rejig Rovers' forward line for the new season.
"If the manager wants to go in a different direction, which it seems he does, then I am comfortable with that," Roberts said.
"I still feel I have a lot of good years left in me so we will just see what will happen.
"There is no problem as such, we have just come to a mutual decision.
"If there is the chance to move me on then the manager has said he would like to and I also feel it is maybe time to move on."
Allardyce signed young Manchester United forward Mame Biram Diouf on loan last Friday and former Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari is reported to have been training with Blackburn this week.
