PROMISING Aussie Rocky Visconte has revealed his excitement about the opportunity of a loan move to second tier club Ayr United from Heart of Midlothian.
The 19-year-old left-back had recently progressed up the ranks at Hearts making his senior SPL starting debut on the weekend at St Johnstone.
But Visconte will now link up with fellow Australian youngster Ryan McGowan, who is also on loan at Ayr from Hearts in Scotland's Division One.
Visconte told the Hearts website: "At Hearts, I realise that players like Lee Wallace and Andrew Driver are coming back to fitness and I might not get a regular game.
"Going to Ayr gets me a regular game in the first team and having Ryan [McGowan] there makes it easier. He's done well there and so I have to go and do the same.
"I won't only be getting a good opportunity to play for a first team with a first division club but we've also got an aim, because being second from bottom we need to stay up, so there's plenty to fight for."
