Tom Rogic came off the bench to score his eighth goal of the season as Celtic defeated Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the SPL overnight.
Rogic fired in Celtic’s third goal, receiving Stuart Armstrong’s cutback on the penalty spot, powering his shot home despite Inverness keeper Owain Fon Williams’ best efforts.
The Australian had entered the fray in the 70th minute, having played 69 minutes in the midweek 1-1 draw at Borussia Moenchengladbach.
Elsewhere in Europe overnight, Mile Jedinak provided an assist as Aston Villa defeated Blackburn Rovers 2-1 in the Championship.
It's been an interesting week for Massimo Luongo who was nominated for the Player of the Month before being out injured as QPR drew 1-1 at Nottingham Forest, leading to boss Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink being sacked.
