Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has lauded the input of Aussie ace Tom Rogic by comparing him to Liverpool star Adam Lallana.
Rogic netted a last-minute winner in Celtics’ 4-3 win at Motherwell and the Hoops mentor says the 23-year-old is only going to get better.

“Tom’s got huge potential. His bodywork is as good as you’ll get,” Rodgers told the Scottich Sun.
“He and Lallana are of that same mould where they just roll out of trouble. Technically, he’s so gifted and physically he’s better now.
“Last Saturday, he played right the way through and was a big player at the end.
“Sometimes when I sub Tom it’s not necessarily how he’s playing or he can’t last. Sometimes I just need to shore up the game with a more defensive type player.

"His contribution against Manchester City was top-class and the beauty is he’s committed here. He sees this as his place to develop.”
Celtic’s midfield trio of Rogic, Scott Brown and Stuart Armstrong are fast becoming a dominant force.
Rogic said it was a pleasure to form such a strong combination of experience and potential.
“Against City they were brilliant. You do well to see City play so many long balls from their goalkeeper and back three,” Rogic said.
“Stuart is getting better all the time, in terms of understanding about consolidating the game, how to keep the ball with purpose, not be frightened to make simple passes.
“Now we must carry on and keep believing in what we’re doing and keep developing.”
