ROMA have obtained full ownership of striker Mirko Vucinic after agreeing to pay newly-promoted Lecce 12 million euros for the other half of his contract.
Vucinic, 24, spent five years at Lecce before moving to Roma on loan in 2006 and, though hampered by knee injuries, he still impressed.
The following season the capital club paid Lecce 7.5 million euros for co-ownership of the Serbia and Montenegro captain with an option to buy him outright, which has now been taken up.
"Roma and Mirko Vucinic announce the finalising of the agreement with Lecce for the sporting rights of the player," read a statement on Roma's website.
"The amount due in favour to Lecce for the resolution of the agreement has been fixed at 12 million euros, to be paid in three annual instalments (of equal amount) through the LNP, starting from the 2008/09 season."
Vucinic scored nine goals in Serie A last season as he helped fire Roma to second spot in the table.
