Roma are confident they will complete the signing of Barcelona forward Bojan Krkic later today.
The Serie A outfit already reached an agreement with the 20-year-old last month but the deal has yet to be finalised.
Reports in England claimed that Tottenham were ready to make an attempt to prise the young Spaniard from Roma.
However, Roma sporting director Walter Sabatini told Corriere dello Sport: "We have a complete agreement with the player.
"We still have to sort out some details with Barcelona but there will be no problems.
"The transfer could be completed by today, I am optimistic."
Bojan is set to join Roma in a 10million euros deal and is expected to sign a five-year contract with the Serie A outfit.
Bojan has struggled to get regular first team football at Barca but at Roma would be coached by former Barcelona B manager Luis Enrique.
