Dinamo Bucharest coach Mircea Rednic was handed a reward for winning the Romanian championship, despite the fact that 15 games still remain this season and the title is far from officially clinched.
Dinamo were so confident, they paid him up early.
“My day started happily after the Dinamo board decided to give me half of the promised bonus for winning the title,” Rednic said.
But his bosses cannot expect a refund should things go pear-shaped.
“I’ve told the major shareholders that I’m investing it all as soon as I can – it won’t be possible to return it.”
