Laurentiu Rosu and George Ogararu have been left out of Victor Piturca's provisional Romania squad for next month's European Championships in Austria and Switzerland.
Midfielder Rosu misses out after failing to shine for club side Recreativo Huelva in recent matches while Ajax defender Ogararu is overlooked after slipping down the pecking order at the Amsterdam ArenA.
Piturca's 26-man selection will be cut down to a final squad of 23 before May 28.
All Romania-based players have already got together for a training camp in Turkey while the remainder of the initial squad will join with the party on Thursday.
