Brazil star Ronaldinho is interested in competing at the 2008 Olympics.
His brother and manager Roberto De Assis told www.globoesporte.com the Barcelona playmaker believes "winning the gold medal is one of the most important aims".
He continued: "Maybe this is the only title that he never achieved in his career. If the coach calls him, I'm sure he will go because he is dreaming of bringing the gold medal to Brazil."
Brazilian FA (CBF) president Ricardo Teixeira claimed recently that the Olympic gold is a priority for the team, with senior coach Dunga having offered his services at the helm for the tournament.
Ronaldinho, 27, could play in the championship with the regulations allowing each team to field three players over the age of 23.
