Brazil coach Dunga has yet to decide if Ronaldo will be included in the squad for the Copa America.
Since his appointment to lead the five-time world champions following their 2006 World Cup elimination, Dunga has not called upon the services of the AC Milan striker.
But the coach knows the totemic goal-machine`s value to the team and may now recall him ahead of the tournament in Venezuela.
"I am following Ronaldo very closely and I know he is ready," Dunga told the O Estado de Sao Paulo newspaper.
"He does not need to be tested.
"However, we have to analyse some things before deciding whether to name him or not."
Since arriving at Milan in February, Ronaldo has showed impressive form, scoring seven times in just 12 appearances and will be keen to make the final cut for the competition which runs from June 26 to July 15.
Brazil, who won the last edition in 2004 beating Argentina on penalties, are scheduled to play in Group B, alongside Mexico, Ecuador and Chile.
