The 20-year-old Australian winger, who was called up to the senior Socceroos squad for the Ireland game last August, leaves the Royals after three years where he failed to make a first-team impact in that time.

Bozanic spent most of last season out on loan with Cheltenham before a better spell at League Two club Aldershot Town where he made 27 appearances scoring twice.

It would appear a permanent switch to Aldershot is unlikely, though, with Shots boss Kevin Dillon stating last week Bozanic saw his future elsewhere, after cutting short his loan spell to return to Reading.

"Bozanic has gone back to Reading," he said. "He's decided that he doesn't want to be involved anymore and the least said about that the better."

The former Central Coast Mariners man joins Liam Rosenior, Mitchell Bryant and Radoslav Vasilev out the door at the Madejski Stadium.

In a club statement, Reading said: "The club would like to place on record their thanks to each of the departing players for their hard work and we wish them every success in the future."
