DERBY have signed Australian goalkeeper Brad Jones on loan from Liverpool until the end of the season after falling out of favour at Anfield under new boss Kenny Dalglish.
Manager Nigel Clough moved quickly to bring Jones to Pride Park after Hull recalled Matt Duke from his loan stint with the Rams.
Jones has struggled to even make it onto the bench since Dalglish took charge and now hopes to get some game time under his belt.
Mark Schwarzer's former deputy has also fallen off the Socceroos radar since he signed from Middlesbrough to Anfield this season under former boss Roy Hodgson and didn't feature for the current squad in Germany.
"Just signed with Derby County on loan until the end of the season," he said on Twitter overnight. "Looking forward to getting some game time before the season is over.
"It was the right thing to do at the right time."
