THE Socceroos will hold a public training session for supporters at AAMI Park in Melbourne next week ahead of their World Cup warm up clash against Ricki Herbert's New Zealand.
Football Federation Australia today announced that the Socceroos will hold an open public training session at AAMI Park on Wednesday 19 May (starting at 5pm) as part of their preparations for their b farewell match against the All Whites at the MCG on Monday 24 May.
It will be the Qantas Socceroos first training session in Melbourne, after assembling in camp earlier in the day, and the first opportunity for football fans to show their support for the team.
Entry will be free for all fans who want the opportunity to see Australia's best football players begin their final preparations for the World Cup in South Africa.

Gates open at 4.30 and entry is via Gate 7 only. (Gate is on the western side, near Olympic Park)

Tram 70 (Wattle Park). Tram service stops at Swan Street and Hisense Arena stops, both opposite the stadium.

Tram 48 (North Balwyn) and Tram 75 (Vermont South) Stops adjacent to MCG on Wellington Parade, a 10-minute walk through Yarra Park down to AAMI Park.
By Train - take train to Richmond, Jolimont or Flinders Street Stations.
All stations are within walking distance of the Melbourne and Olympic Parks precinct.
