Barcelona president Sandro Rosell has insisted the club were fortunate to sign Neymar and is excited to see him link up with Lionel Messi.
The Liga champions clinched the 21-year-old striker's signing last-month for €57 million, which will see him contracted to the club until 2018.
The Brazilian international will commence pre-season training with the team on July 15 following his country's incredible win in the FIFA Confederations Cup last month, in which saw he scored four goals.
Rosell has echoed football fans across the world in his excitement to see their new promising star join four-time Ballon d'Or winner Messi.
"All good people understand these situations. And these are two good people." he told Sport.es.
"We were fortunate to sign Neymar before the Confederations Cup, after the tournament the price would have shot up."
Someone who Neymar will not play with next term, however, is 22-year-old forward Bojan Krkic, who has joined Ajax on loan.
The young player has spent the last two seasons in Serie A, with loan spells at both Milan and Roma, and Rosell believes he needs more first-team experience.
"Besides being a very dear person, he is a very good player who needs minutes to play and prove he's a goalscorer," he added.
"We hope some day he will return to Barca."
