Tomas Rosicky knows how Arsenal finish the campaign could be crucial to their hopes for next season.
The Gunners head into Sunday's clash against Fulham at the Emirates Stadium all but certain of another top-four finish in the Barclays Premiership.
Despite reaching the Carling Cup final, it has been a disappointing season for Arsene Wenger's side, who failed to have an impact on the domestic title race and suffered an early exit from the Champions League to PSV Eindhoven.
"We probably cannot say it has been a successful season because we probably only reach the minimum which the club wants every season, and that is to qualify for the Champions League," Rosicky said.
"It is disappointing but we have to stay positive because we are playing good football.
"If we stick with it, then next season we can achieve something big."
