Runaway Premiers, Sydney FC, made a virtue of taking it one round at a time but Muscat says Victory have thrown themselves into the Big Blue blockbuster.

The two fierce rivals face off against each other tomorrow at Allianz Stadium in what should be a mouthwatering season decider.

"What it means to me, it’s a Grand Final," Muscat said as coaches and captains faced the media ahead of the match.

"Because there’s no round 30 is there.

"It’s the final game of the season, we’ve embraced the week. Certainly we don’t think there’s anything to be scared of. It’s a Grand Final and we’re not afraid of it.

"We’ve had a great week. We embraced going down and enjoying ourselves with our fans that have already travelled across here early. No doubt there’ll be many more coming here tomorrow.

"We look forward to the occasion – it’s a big occasion, one that early on I suppose you turn up for the first couple of days in preseason and it’s where you want to be and very very quickly it turned to where we expected to be.

"So this position we expected to be in so it’s another reason why we don’t fear it. Nothing to be afraid of."

Sydney FC boss Graham Arnold was not taking the bait, nor wavering from the routine that helped the Sky Blues smash a raft of A-League records.

"It’s about preparation, it’s about routine," he said.

"It’s a big game, we know that, clearly. But the message to the players is routine.

"What you did for the other 35 weeks in preseason and preparation for each game, carrying out the game plan and making sure we stick to it...like we’ve done exceptionally well, is the key."

Arnold announced that Sydney won't be able to rely on Bernie Ibini off the bench after the pacy winger succumbed to a hamsting injury.

But he added: “We’ve got a wonderful group of players that are desperate and hungry.

"In the end we won the league by 17 points."
