The Richmond Eagles host the Sunshine Georgies at Kevin Bartlett Reserve on Friday night to kick off the round. Unbeaten after three rounds, the Eagles will be looking to cement their position in the top five against a team whom they thrashed 8-0 in their previous encounter two seasons ago. The Georgies for their part will be hoping that the four day turn around will be the medicine required to bounce back from their last start loss.

For the first time this season, Dandenong Thunder will play in front of their home fans as they host the Altona Magic on Saturday night. Thunder fans will be hoping their form is as good at home as it has been away. With both teams yet to concede a goal this season it promises to be an enthralling clash.

For the second week in a row, Hume City will be at home, this time playing host to Heidelberg United on Sunday afternoon. They will be hoping for the same result as their last home game but will have their work cut out against a Heidelberg side that has picked up two impressive wins on the bounce.

Preston will be hoping they can pick themselves back up from last round's 7-1 drubbing at the hands of South Melbourne as they host the unbeaten Green Gully Cavaliers at BT Connor Reserve on Sunday. It will be a difficult task for the Lions with the only glimmer of hope being the number of key Cavaliers' players who are out through injury.

Sunday also see the clash of the two of the league's heavyweights, South Melbourne and the Melbourne Knights at Bob Jane Stadium. South Melbourne finally got on the winner's list last week in impressive fashion whilst the Knights will look to build on their hard fought win over Oakleigh Cannons. With these two clubs being two of the best supported in the league, a big crowd is guaranteed along with a hard fought clash.

The round concludes on Monday night with Oakleigh travelling to Epping Stadium to take on the struggling Whittlesea Zebras. The Zebras have failed to hit the back of the net so far this season and will be hoping this drought breaks against an Oakleigh side who have lost their last two games by a single goal.
