SOCCEROO call-up Nikita Rukavytsya took his season assists tally to 10 as Hertha Berlin defeated Greuther Fuerth 2-0 in Germany's 2.Bundesliga on Monday night.
The 23-year-old forward, who was called up today for Australia's squad to face Germany in a friendly later this month, provided the assist for Hertha's second goal in the win at fellow promotion hopefuls Fuerth.
Earlier Christian Lell had crossed for Adrian Ramos to give Hertha the lead five minutes before half-time.
And five minutes after the interval, Rukavytsya's set-piece delivery found Peter Niemeyer who headed in from close-range to make it 2-0.
Rukavytsya is now equal second with teammate Adrian Ramos in the 2.Bundesliga assists charts.
Hertha are four points clear on top of the 2.Bundesliga table with eight games to play.
