EUROROOS WRAP: Nikita Rukavytsya's KSV Roeselare have bowed out of the Beker van Belgie, despite a gutsy 3-1 second-leg win, losing 4-3 on aggregate to Cercle Brugge in their semi-final.
Rukavytsya put in a full shift for Roeselare and the Aussie was busy after Cercle had gone ahead early through Jelle Vossen.
Cercle's early strike left Roeselare with no option but to attack and Rukavytsya forced Brugge stopper Bram Verbist into a save in the first-half.
Mahamadou Dissa equalised for KSVR before the break and then Rukavytsya was involved in the build-up for Jeremy Huyghebeart 60th minute goal.
Dissa grabbed another ten minutes to give Roeselare hope, but Cercle held on despite being reduced to ten men late on.
In Germany's 2.Bundesliga, Socceroo Dario Vidosic was a 66th minute substitute as MSV Duisburg thrashed TuS Koblenz 4-1. Vidosic went close to scoring on 83 minutes.
In France's Ligue 2, Aussie defender Ante Rozic wasn't in the Sedan matchday squad as they lost 2-0 at Bastia.
In Ireland's Premier Division, Aussie goalkeeper Chris O'Connor's Bohemians drew 0-0 with Sligo Rovers.
