Socceroos' 2018 World Cup hopeful Nikita Rukavytsya continued his good form with a double for Maccabi Haifa in a 4-0 win overnight in the Israeli's top flight.
The ex-Perth Glory forward opened the scoring in the 19th minute and doubled his side's lead in the 50th minute.
Rukavytsya has been in prolific form this season, with his double taking his season tally to 14 goals in all competitions.
The 30-year-old was brought back into the Socceroos fold in the 2018 World Cup qualifying play-offs by coach Ange Postecoglou after several years away.
The Ukraine-born forward was included in Bert van Marwijk's squad for the upcoming friendlies against Colombia and Norway.
Rukavytsya's career has seen him play in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany before returning to the A-League with Western Sydney in 2014.
The Ukraine-born forward moved to Israel in 2015, joining Beitar Jerusalem and more recently Maccabi Haifa, where his wife's parents reside.
