EUROROOS WRAP: Socceroo Nikita Rukavytsya made his league debut for Hertha Berlin overnight as they defeated Rot-Weiss Oberhausen 3-2 in Germany's 2.Bundesliga.
Rukavytsya, who made his Hertha debut last week in the DFB Pokal, started the clash but was replaced on 68 minutes.
And it was another debutant who made the headlines with Marco Djuricin grabbing a double for Hertha BSC, including the winner.
Rukavytsya was involved in Hertha's second goal when Oberhausen keeper Soren Pirson couldn't handle his strike, allowing Djuricin to pounce from close-range.
In Turkey's Super Lig, Australian midfielder James Troisi started and played 90 minutes as Kayserispor defeated Karabukspor 1-0.
In Holland's Eerste Divisie, Aussie winger Jimmy Downey's Sparta Rotterdam scored a record 12-1 victory over Almere City, with former Sydney FC target Johan Voskamp scoring eight goals.
In Ireland's Premier Division, Australian goalkeeper Chris O'Connor played a full game as Bohemians won 2-1 at Dundalk.
