Bayern Munich chairman Karl-Heinz Rummenigge insists there is "no chance" striker Lukas Podolski will be leaving the Allianz Arena in January.
The Germany forward has been unable to get regular first-team football this season with Miroslav Klose and Luca Toni leading the attack and has been persistently linked with a return to former club Cologne.
General manager Uli Hoeness admitted on Sunday night he could "well imagine him (Podolski) leaving at the end of the season" and Rummenigge today reiterated the player would be going nowhere in January.
"We have told Cologne very clearly that there is no chance of signing Lukas Podolski in the winter break," Rummenigge said.
"Lukas will stay at least until summer 2009 - his contract runs up until June 2010. He will certainly spend the second half of the season at Bayern and after that we will see."
One player definitely not on his way out, according to Rummenigge, is France winger Franck Ribery, whom he feels is "unsaleable".
"There is no amount in the world over which we would deliberate for a second. Absolutely none. The board is completely united," he said.
"Franck Ribery has a contract until at least 2011 - he is unsaleable."
Rummenigge also confirmed the Los Angeles Galaxy'sLandon Donovan will be the only player joining the club in the January transfer window.
The United States forward trained with the Bundesliga champions last month and will move to Munich on loan during the Major League Soccer off-season.
"The only new face who will come to Bayern in the winter is Landon Donovan," Rummenigge told the club's official website.
"We have loaned him in the first instance until March 15. We have a very steady, settled team, in which I see absolutely no reason for big changes."
Bayern have been heavily linked in the German press with a move for Zenit St Petersburg midfielder Anatoliy Tymoshchuk - who is seen as a possible replacement for Mark van Bommel.
The Ukraine international met with officials from the Bundesliga outfit in Munich at the weekend, but Rummenigge claims no transfer will happen before the summer.
"That was a straight discussion in which we talked about the possibilities which could crop up in summer 2009 - no more," he said.
"There is neither an agreement nor anything else. We have also not made an offer or anything of the sort. We don't have to wrap things for summer 2009 up quickly in December 2008."
