Queensland Roar boss Frank Farina has indicated to his coaching staff that he is about to launch a bid for Colombian Striker Oscar Briceño.
Farina stated that Briceno was currently in his thoughts after watching him play for Millonarios in Colombia's Copa Mustang. Briceño has two caps for his nation and is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in Colombian football by national team manager Jorge Luis Pinto. Pinto has told Colombian media that Briceño is not yet ready for the big leagues of Europe but believes a move to a smaller league would prepare him for an exciting career.
