Sadio Mane has given more than one hundred Liverpool playing shirts with his name and old number to football-loving orphans in Malawi.

As reported by the Mirror, the star forward donated the playing shirts after he changed his number to number ten after previously wearing the number 19 shirt in his first season at Anfield.

Liverpool offered fans the chance to swap their 2018/19 shirts after Mane decided to complete the switcheroo to number ten, following Philippe Coutinho's move to FC Barcelona.

Two charities made the donation possible - KitAid and Friends of Mulanje Orphans, FOMO.

Mary Woodworth, FOMO's founder explained, "It's just magical basically.

"It will make a big difference, especially in the villages... It's a dream come true."
