Trent Sainsbury has already made a massive impact at Grasshopper Zurich, captaining the side against arch-rivals FC Basel in only his fourth match.
Grasshopper lost to the Swiss giants 1-0, with Norwegian threat Mohamed Elyounoussi scoring the winner on the 74th minute.
Basel are 11 points behind BSC Young Boys in the race for the Swiss title, capping off an unusual power shift among Switzerland's biggest clubs.
The Socceroos defender is picking up crucial minutes before June's World Cup, with the 26-year-old starting each of the last three matches returning from injury.
Difficult game away in Basel, Team played well and fought until the final whistle; just couldn’t get the result we worked so hard for.

Despite his impact at the Zurich club, Grasshopper have one draw and three losses since Sainsbury joined.
The club - which hold the record for Swiss Super League championships - are currently languishing eighth on the ladder in a 10 team league, with the bottom two clubs facing relegation at the end of the season.
Grasshopper are currently only one point clear of last place.
