Trent Sainsbury made his long-awaited first start for Grasshopper Zurich, helping his side to a hard-fought 1-1 draw against FC Zurich.
Following his brief substitute appearance in Grasshopper's 2-0 loss to Thun last week, GCZ coach Murat Yakin rolled out Sainsbury for a much-improved performance in the the Zurich Derby.
FC Zurich took the lead early through Raphael Dwamena, but Grasshoppers equalised with 15 minutes remaining thanks to Kenan Kodro, to move Sainsbury's side up to sixth in the league.
Sainsbury was withdrawn on the 86th minute, the first match he's started since November.
The Socceroos' inclusion helped solidify the struggling Swiss giants, who are now six matches without a win. Also in Switzerland, Tomi Juric was a late substitute appearance in FC Luzern's 1-0 loss to Thun.
