BLACKBURN Rovers boss Sam Allardyce says he is concerned about Australian Vince Grella's continual injury setbacks which have plagued his time at Ewood Park.
The 31-year-old Aussie midfielder has been on the sidelines for the past month due to a groin injury and has managed just five appearances for Rovers this season.
Grella joined Blackburn from Torino in August 2008, but has been cursed with injuries since moving to England restricting him to just 41 appearances for Rovers.
Allardyce said: "He can't seem to get a run of games to maintain the level of fitness we call match-fitness.
"Vince has been unable to do that in his entire time here and has always broken down in some way.
"The concerning thing is it is not a particular area that continues to break down, it is always somewhere different.
"He is experienced, we know how good a passer he is. He has had an impact on the team when he has been available but unfortunately we haven't been able to keep him on the pitch long enough."
Grella, who was linked with a switch to Galatasaray in the off-season, is contracted with Blackburn until the end of the 2011/2012 season.
