Further to our earler story that Melbourne Victory and Under 23 Socceroo midfielder Kristian Sarkies was considering an invitation to trial with Leeds United, we can now confirm Adelaide United's interest in the youngster is more of an option.

Sarkies who is advised by former Socceroo Jim Tansey and also has the ear of Kewell's manager Bernie Mandic (who had organised the Leeds trials, is now more interested in considering the Adelaide offer to ressurect his flagging A-League career.
