ADAM Sarota could make his senior Socceroos debut after coach Holger Osieck called him into the squad to replace injured Brett Holman for the friendly against Wales on Thursday.
Holman strained a groin muscle in Sunday’s Dutch Eredivisie match against PSV Eindhoven and has remained in Alkmaar to receive treatment.
Sarota was a member of Holger Osieck’s squad for the friendly against Germany in March, but is yet to make his debut. He made two appearances for the Young Socceroos.
He flew into the UK from his Dutch club FC UTrecht to join the 18-man Socceroos squad in Cardiff ahead of the midweek clash.
The Socceroos match against Wales can be seen live on Fox Sports 1 and Fox Sports 1 HD from 4.30am AEST this Thursday.
