FORMER Brisbane Roar youngster Adam Sarota made his first-team debut for FC Utrecht on Thursday as they reached the next stage of the Europa League with a 1-1 draw at KF Tirana.
Sarota, 21, was a 71st minute substitute for the Eredivisie outfit who progressed 5-1 on aggregate.
Tommy Oar, who had made his debut in the first-leg, did not play for Utrecht, while Michael Zullo didn't make an appearance either.
Utrecht will face Swiss club FC Luzern in the third qualifying round of the Europa League.
Elsewhere, Australian goalkeeper Ante Covic returned to the IF Elfsborg starting eleven and helped the Swedish side overcome Iskra Skal 1-0 to qualify for the next stage.
Covic, 35, won his opportunity to play a the full game for Elfsborg following an injury to new number one Jesper Christiansen.
The former Newcastle Jets and Marconi shot-stopper kept a clean sheet and reportedly did a reasonable job in goals.
