SASA Ognenovski has already enjoyed a successful few days with a call up into the Socceroos squad and now he's hungry for Champions League honours as well with club side Seongnam Ilhwa.
The big defender will skipper Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma as they look to lift the trophy.
Coach Shin Tae-wong has told his players to seize the "opportunity of a lifetime" as the South Korean side bid for Asian Champions League glory when they face Zob Ahan.
Seongnam head into the final at Tokyo'sNational Stadium looking to claim continental success for the first time since 1995.
Shin, 40, was part of that successful side and is determined to lift the trophy once again, although this time as a manager.
"I have gained victory before as a player," said the former South Korea international.
"I tell (my players) about my experience in the competition and so as long as they don't feel nervous I am confident they will play well.
"I am trying not to give my players any extra pressure. I don't want them to feel that. I have young players playing very important roles and maybe this is the opportunity of their lifetime and if they feel pressure they may not be able to play their own game."
Seongnam will be captained by Sasa Ognenovski, who heads into the game on the back of receiving his first call-up to the Australia national squad for a friendly with Egypt next week.
"If I can round of this week off with a win tomorrow I don't think there will be too many better weeks for a footballer," said the 31-year-old defender.
"But first of all I have to concentrate on tomorrow's game and try and win that trophy."
Seven-goal forward Mauricio Molina will be the main dangerman for Seongnam, who will be without suspended duo Dzenan Radoncic and Cheon Kwang-jin.
Zob Ahan, meanwhile, are bidding for a first-ever triumph at this level having surpassed all expectations to reach the final in their debut appearance.
The Iranian side have already claimed the formidable scalps of past champions Al Ittihad and Pohang Steelers, and will be in no mood to see all their effort go to waste tomorrow.
"We have just one objective which is to win," said coach Mansour Ebrahimzadeh.
"Regardless of where we play, a match is a match and so I am only concentrating on tomorrow's game," he said.
"It is a victory for us to get here and we are confident we can get the win tomorrow.
"We have done our analysis of their team. They are very clever and very tough so on the pitch we will play with the objective in mind (to win the final)
"We have a plan and with it we will be able to win."
