AUSSIES ABROAD: Socceroos shot-stopper Mark Schwarzer was back in goal for Fulham overnight, playing a full game, as the Cottagers defeated Wolverhampton 2-1 in the English Premier League.
The veteran Australian goalkeeper, who saw a proposed move to Arsenal fall through last week, was left scrambling early on when Jelle Van Demme put Wolves ahead.
But Fulham fought back with Moussa Dembele scoring a double, while Schwarzer did well to deny Kevin Doyle down the other end in the second-half.
Elsewhere in the EPL, Tim Cahill was the hero late for Everton, scoring a goal and providing an assist in stoppage-time as the Toffees claimed a remarkable 3-3 draw against Manchester United.
