Mark Schwarzer admits his future at Middlesbrough is still unclear as discussions between the club and his agent continue.
The 34-year-old has one year remaining at the Riverside but has turned down the initial offer of an extension to his contract.
"I have one year left on my contract, obviously there have been discussions with Middlesbrough regarding my future and my agent is talking with them at the moment.
"All I am doing now though is concentrating on playing football, I am in a big tournament here with Australia and that is my main focus at this moment in time.
"What happens aside of that will happen and I leave that to my agent and Middlesbrough to sort out.
"I have had a great 10 years there. I am happy there and have been happy there all the time and there is no reason to go looking elsewhere.
"But by the same token you have to look after your future and sometimes people move on and sometimes the club moves on.
"If both parties decide they want move on so be it. It would be sad to leave but life goes on and I'd leave with a lot of good memories.
"If I was to stay then great, I have had a great time and hopefully it will continue.
"But as I say I am just leaving discussions to my agent and Middlesbrough."
