Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger admits he is considering a move abroad in the summer.
The Germany international's contract expires at the end of the season and negotiations have yet to begin over a new deal, meaning he would be able to eligible to leave the Allianz Arena on a free transfer in July.
Reports suggest Schweinsteiger has already attracted the interest of a host of clubs in Italy.
"Playing abroad would be very attractive," the 24-year-old told Bavarian television.
Schweinsteiger insisted though he would not take any decision to leave Bayern lightly.
He added: "There are a lot of possibilities with Bayern. They are the best club in Germany and belong to the top five in Europe.
"It is a great honour to play for this club.
"We will just have to see how it pans out. I will not say anything for certain at the moment."
