Portugal coach Luiz Felipe Scolari insists he will see out his contract despite being linked with the England manager's post again.
The former Brazil boss was first choice when the Football Association were hunting for a replacement for Sven-Goran Eriksson at the start of last year.
And the Brazilian has again featured among those being tipped to succeed Steve McClaren, who was dismissed this week in the wake of England's failure to qualify for Euro 2008.
Scolari was in typically combative mood after his side qualified with a 0-0 draw against Finland on Wednesday, losing his temper and storming out of a post-match press conference when journalists questioned Portugal's performance.
But he said on Friday: "My contract with the Portugal Football Federation runs out in July 2008. I am very happy in Portugal."
Scolari, who was speaking after a meeting with Brazilian president Lula da Silva in Brasilia, added he was proud of his achievements with Portugal after guiding them to next year's tournament in Austria and Switzerland.
He said: "I am very satisfied that, once again, Portugal have qualified for the Euro 2008.
"Criticism and praise are normal in football. So I think when we achieve our goals you just have to be happy.
"I do not see any problem in a team that in 26 qualifying games for the World Cup and Euro 2008 have lost only one game.
"About 90% of the squad has changed since 2002. We were runners-up in Euro 2004 and we qualified for the World Cup in 2006. With all of this I am happy with my work."
