Ramos is one of the best right-backs in the world but his disappointing form this season is of worry to the Madrid faithful and the club.

The 22-year-old looks a shadow of his former self and reports suggest the Primera Liga champions are considering placing him under observation to uncover if there is a reason behind his lack of fitness and form - an idea which Ramos claims he would welcome.

"It wouldn't bother me if Real Madrid pushed a detective onto me," he said. "If they want to do that, let them.

"That way they can understand that I am almost always at home and that I am a person who leads a very normal, family life.

"To get here you have to work a lot, make a lot of sacrifices and stop doing a lot of things that you liked."

Ramos also laughed off suggestions that he could be set to leave the club at the end of the season, with Premier League sides Manchester City and Chelsea reportedly waiting in the wings.

"I still have many years of my contract left and I have never thought about leaving," added the Spain defender.
