FC Seoul will meet Ulsan Hyundai Horang-I in the final of the Hauzen Cup after downing Incheon United and Suwon Bluewings respectively in the semi-finals overnight.
FC Seoul needed a penalty shoot-out to progress while a goal from Korea Republic striker Lee Chun-soo was enough to earn Ulsan a 1-0 win over the former Asian champions.
Lee Sang-yeop struck from 25 yards out to give FC Seoul the lead in their semi-final after 20 minutes only for Kim Sang-rok to silence the home fans just moments later with the equaliser.
From that point, chances were few and far between and the game drifted into extra-time and then penalties.
Seoul goalkeeper Kim Byung-ji saved Lee Dong-won's spot kick to give the hosts a 4-3 win.
Seoul will meet Ulsan next Wednesday after the Tigers downed the in-form Bluewings at Munsu World Cup Stadium.
After a goalless first half, Lee struck with one of his trademark free-kicks, which curled past national team-mate Lee Woon-jae in the Suwon goal two minutes before the hour mark.
