Juventus missed the opportunity to open up a three-point lead at the top of Serie A as they twice relinquished a lead to draw 2-2 at home to Genoa tonight.
Alessandro Matri twice put Juve ahead but his strikes were cancelled out, first by Marco Rossi and then by Andrea Caracciolo as the Rossoblu nicked a point.
Tonight's other game in Italy' top flight also ended 2-2, Catania twice coming from behind to extend Fiorentina's winless run to four games at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.
Stevan Jovetic put the Viola in front in the 20th minute and restored their advantage in the 62nd after Gennaro Delvecchio had levelled just before the break.
Maxi Lopez was credited with the goal which earned Catania a deserved point in the 83rd minute, with Fiorentina coach Sinisa Mihajlovic letting the disappointment and emotions get the better of him as he was sent to the stands five minutes from time.
