The Rossoblu took the lead in the first half when Arturo Vidal felled Marco Sau in the area and Mauricio Pinilla converted from the spot.

But the Bianconeri fought back to level through Alessandro Matri and the substitute stole the victory for the visitors in added time with his second strike before Mirko Vucinic made sure of the points.

The result saw Juventus extend their advantage at the top of the Serie A table to 10 points, with nearest rival Inter still to play this weekend.

Meanwhile, Cagliari remain just a point above the relegation zone in 17th position and will find themselves in the bottom three if 18th-placed Palermo manage at least a draw with fourth-placed Fiorentina on Saturday.

In the day's other match, a late Togni winner saw Pescara defeat Catania 2-1.

Pescara, who started the day in the relegation zone, took the lead after Mervan Celik converted Vladimir Weiss' assist after 23 minutes.

Pablo Barrientos netted an equaliser 10 minutes before the half-time break for the eighth-placed Catania and they seemed headed for a draw.

But Togni had other ideas, with the Brazilian scoring in the fifth minute of second-half stoppage time to spark wild celebrations at Stadio Adriatico-Giovanni Cornacchia.

Pescara now sit 15th on the Serie A table.
