Culina had to be substituted at half-time with what is believed to be a knee problem, while Wilkshire was replaced on 69 minutes due to a groin problem.

But the biggest concern could be for Carney who appeared to injure his shoulder late in the contest.

Carney has had previous issues with his shoulder, dislocating it last season before undergoing surgery in December 2009, and his absence could leave the Socceroos short on the left-side of defence.

Osieck told Fox Sports after the 1-1 draw that even though he had to wait on the official word from the team's medical staff that the injuries looked serious.

"It doesn't look too good but we still have to wait for the medical report," Osieck said. "But obviously it's going to be serious injuries."

Australia are next in action against Bahrain on Tuesday.
