There were reports that a switch of venue could be on the cards after the SFS staged the Edinburgh Military Tattoo at the weekend, sparking fears for the condition of the pitch.

Both Parramatta Stadium and ANZ Stadium were rumoured to be possible alternatives for the Victory clash but the Sky Blues are adamant the SFS will stage the match.

"Sydney FC has been working closely with Sydney Football Stadium and Football Federation Australia (FFA) and all parties are satisfied the pitch will be to the standard required to host the Hyundai A-League match," said a Sydney FC spokesman today.

Gates will open at 3pm.

The National Youth League match scheduled for earlier in the day between Sydney FC and Melbourne Victory will now be played at Seymour Shaw Park (2pm kick-off) on Saturday February 13.
