AC Milan's new signing Thiago Silva cannot wait to make his debut with the Italian giants.
Silva, who joined the Rossoneri earlier this year from Fluminense, is expected to start in tonight's friendly in Germany against Hannover 96.
"I am ready," Silva said.
"This is an important day for me.
"It's a friendly but it will be my first game with the AC Milan colours. I hope all goes well."
The Brazilian defender will not be able to play an official game this season for the Rossoneri because of Italian rules over the number of non-European Union players signed by clubs.
But the 24-year-old is in the meantime enjoying training with a star-studded squad.
"I am happy to be training with a team that has great players," said the 24-year-old.
"It helps to have compatriots in the team and I am really happy that Kaka has stayed.
"Kaka is football and with him, I hope that Milan can celebrate a success by season's end."
