Midfielder Matt Sim has left Cape Town City FC and returned to Australia.
The former A-League player has cited 'personal reasons' behind his contract at the South African club being cut short. Sim joined Cape Town from Western Sydney on a two-year deal in July.

The 28-year old made 14 appearances and scored two goals for the South African side.
FourFourTwo understands Sim is keen to secure a return to the A-League.
The midfielder or defender previously had stints with Central Coast and the Wanderers. He also spent time with the Newcastle Jets' National Youth League team.
