W-League champions Melbourne City have snapped up Matildas star Kyah Simon for the 2017/18 campaign.
The 26-year-old will swap the Sky Blue of Sydney FC for the blue of City, saying she was enticed by the professionalism of the two-time champions.
"It’s definitely living up to my expectations, being here with the team and being down here in Melbourne," Simon told Fox Sports on Friday night.
"I love the city and just being back in that team environment which I’ve really missed this year. I’m really excited about the coming season."

Blacktown-born Simon is building for a big season after a tough period with injuries and said pace-setters City were the right choice going forward.
"That was one of the drawcards for me was to come and be part of such a professional club in Melbourne City," she said.
"I’m really excited – the training facilities, the team environment, the players that I’m playing with, the coaching staff are definitely all top quality.
"It’s a great environment for me to be in and ensure I give myself the best opportunity to play my best football."
Simon added: "I needed a mental refresher as much as a physical refresher this year – I had a double shoulder (reconstruction) earlier on and I’m definitely feeling better from that.
"I'm feeling fit, feeling ready to go and a couple more weeks of preseason under my belt and I’ll be raring to go come round one."
