Juventus midfielder Mohamed Sissoko has poured cold water on speculation linking his former Liverpool team-mate Xabi Alonso with a move to the Bianconeri.
Sissoko left Liverpool in January and recent reports suggested Alonso would join him at the Stadio Olimpico before the start of the new season.
However, Sissoko claims the Spain midfielder is happy to remain at Anfield.
"Yes, I have talked to him," Sissoko told Italian sports daily Gazzetta dello Sport. "And he told me he is happy at Liverpool."
