Perth defender Andy Todd has labeled Saturday night's clash at Etihad stadium against Melbourne as a "must-win".

However, Sekulovski is looking at the bigger picture over the next six days.

After Saturday's clash with the reigning champions, Glory head to Hindmarsh for a Tuesday night clash with the Reds before a crucial match-up against fellow final aspirants Wellington on the Friday night back in Perth.

"It is a must-win game [in Melbourne] more or less. The three points would take the pressure off going into the end of the season. So it's pretty much a must-win but we've got three games in six days so it's not just the Melbourne game - you've got to look at the three games altogether," he told au.fourfourtwo.com today.

"It's make-or-break for our season, so to speak, over the next week which will determine whether we'll play in the finals."

Helping Glory during this exhausting six days will be two new signings. Striker Daniel McBreen - who joins the squad in Melbourne tomorrow after moving on a short term deal from North Queensland Fury - and Scottish midfielder Steven McGarry.

Sekulovski has been impressed by the former Motherwell man since he arrived last week ahead of signing for the Glory on a similar deal to the Fury hitman.

"He's a great technician, good on the ball and the type of player you want in your midfield. So hopefully he'll be able to spray the ball around and get it into the right areas for the strikers," said Sekulovski.

Following the Phoenix game, Glory finish their season with two home games from their last three against Central Coast Mariners and Brisbane Roar.

Sekulovski, 27, has never played in A-League finals series before, after playing all his A-League football in the West. And in career-best form, he says finals football is vital for the game in Perth.

He said he'd expect ME Bank stadium to be sold out for a finals game, raising the possibility that finals football would be played at a bigger stadium such as Subiaco Oval.

If so, it would reignite memories of Glory's NSL past when they ruled domestic football at the turn of the new millennium.

"We had a great win against Newcastle [4-0] on Boxing Day and the performance against Sydney [0-0 last Sunday] was great but the execution wasn't there," he added.

"If we can concentrate in front of goal and continue to do what we've been doing and get our execution right and string a few wins together, we'll be right in it."
