Peter Odemwingie and Sergio Aguero both struck twice as Lokomotiv Moscow and Atletico Madrid played out a six-goal thriller in UEFA Cup Group B.
Atletico twice led through fine goals from Aguero and Diego Forlan, but a first-half equaliser from Diniyar Bilyaletdinov plus Odemwingie's second-half brace looked set to give hosts Lokomotiv the spoils.
However, Aguero produced his second brilliant finish of the match with five minutes to go to earn Atletico a deserved draw.
The first half was a hugely entertaining affair, illuminated by two exquisite goals from either side.
The opener went to Atletico in the 16th minute through in-form Argentinian youngster Aguero.
Standing with his back to goal on the edge of the Lokomotiv area, Aguero half-stopped a pass from Jurado with his right foot - allowing the ball to go across him - before swivelling to hit a superb half-volley into the corner of the net with his left foot.
Lokomotiv were back on level terms 11 minutes later, though, with a decent goal of their own.
Branislav Ivanovic did well down the right before pulling back a low cross into the box that Bilyaletdinov finished off with an unstoppable rising shot past Christian Abbiati from 15 yards out.
Both sides had further chances to score in the first half, but none came closer than Jurado in the 38th minute, when the Atletico man saw his stunning 35-yard thunderbolt crash against the top of the crossbar.
The second half started in perfect fashion for Atletico with Forlan restoring their lead inside the opening two minutes.
Aguero flicked the ball on and Forlan took advantage of some static defending to pick up possession, slip inside an opponent before thumping a clinical shot into the roof of the net.
Aguero then had two opportunities to increase Atletico's advantage, but Lokomotiv goalkeeper Ivan Pelizzoli was there to deny him on both occasions.
Lokomotiv made the most of those let-offs as they stunned Atletico with two Odemwingie goals in three minutes just after the hour-mark to take a 3-2 lead.
Odemwingie's opening strike was as easy as they come, with the Nigeria international slotting home unmarked from two yards after being picked out by Dmitri Sychev.
The striker's second goal came after a Alexander Samedov's corner had caused a scramble in the Atletico box, which resulted in Odemwingie heading home from close range after his initial shot had been blocked.
An exciting end-to-end match continued to produce chances for both sides in the last 15 minutes, but it looked as though Lokomotiv were going to take the spoils - until Aguero's late intervention.
Maniche threaded a pass into the box to Aguero, who allowed the ball to go past him before spinning his marker and then cleverly dinking the ball over the sprawling Pelizzoli to salvage a point for the Spanish side.
