Tottenham captain Robbie Keane compared their incredible comeback against Aston Villa to a victory.
Spurs rallied from 4-1 down to net a last-gasp equaliser at White Hart Lane, arguably sparing manager Martin Jol the chop.
"To come back from 4-1 down is unbelievable," Keane said on Setanta Sports 1.
"You talk about dead and buried but we showed lots of character. That's what we have in this team.
"When you're 4-1 down, you go hell for leather.
"It does feel like a sort of victory to us in many ways."
Keane insisted beleaguered boss Jol had the full support of the Spurs players.
He said: "You should have seen him at the end when we scored the goal. He had the support from everyone. He's shown what a good manager he is over the past couple of years.
"We're going through a bit of sticky patch at the moment."
Man of the match Gareth Bale added: "It could be a turning point from now on.
"Hopefully that last goal can kick us on and give us a bit more confidence."
Jol understandably had mixed feelings about the result.
"I don't know what to feel," he said.
"It was awful but on the other hand it was a big celebration at the end.
"We almost spoiled the night and it was a great night.
"We came back from the death and that was a big positive."
Jol admitted he thought the game was over at 4-1.
He added: "I don't think I've ever been involved in a game like this.
"We could have won it at the end."
Addressing the awful errors that led to Villa's opening two goals, Jol said: "We've tried to do something about it. If there's no leadership, that's a problem."
Jol was surrounded by his players when they equalised and he said: "It's not about me but it was nice to celebrate with them."
He claimed he had not thought any more about his future than he has over the past six weeks.
He said: "I thought about my future for the last six weeks so that's nothing new."
As for his position being under threat, he said: "I don't know. It's not up to me."

Villa boss Martin O'Neill took his frustration out on the officials.
"We should have had penalty just after half-time," he said, referring to Paul Robinson's challenge on Gabriel Agbonlahor.
"The final goal was obviously offside.
"It's not been the best day for the linemen and the referee."
He was pleased with his side's performance, saying: "We've contributed here to a largely entertaining game.
"We have for the most part played terrifically.
"They dropped a little bit deep, which is understandable.
"Obviously Tottenham are going to throw everything at us.
"(It's) easier said than done to come out and still keep playing.
"Hopefully we can learn from that. We have a very young side here at the moment."
O'Neill is certain the result would not haunt his side, saying: "Absolutely not. These lads are game for anything. They feel they are capable of winning football matches home and away."
