MIDFIELDER Wesley Sneijder said a lack of sharpness upfront cost the Netherlands dearly in their 1-0 defeat to Denmark on Saturday.

Morten Olsen's men took the points in the Group B opener thanks to Michael Krohn-Dehli's first-half strike.
Sneijder said his team played well for the majority of the game, but were missing the focus upfront they needed to convert the opportunities that they had fashioned.
"We were missing the final bit of sharpness," the 28-year-old told AD Sportwereld.
"The strikers are keen to score and I play in behind them and give them the ball, but they must score.
"We played well and we were great at the beginning of the game."
The former Ajax man went on to warn his team-mates that they cannot afford to pass up as many chances in their next match against Germany.
"Against Germany we will probably have fewer opportunities than we had against Denmark. But we must be sharp."
