Meredith is off-contract with his two-year deal with Millwall finishing at the end of this season.

The fullback joined the south London club from Bradford City in 2017.

With the Lions battling to avoid the drop out of the Championship, and their status for next season still to be confirmed, Meredith has not been offered a new contract yet FTBL understands.

Millwall is currently two points above the relegation zone, sitting in 20th spot with 42 points. Rotherham United are in 22nd place with 40 points.

Neil Harris' men have five games left to ensure they stay in the Championship.

Then Lions have only lost one of their past five games and on the weekend drew 1-1 with promotion-chasing Sheffield United.

Meredith has made 33 appearances, notching one assist, in all competitions for Millwall in 2018/2019.

The 31-year-old left back was part of the Socceroos' squad at the 2018 World Cup but did not feature in Russia.
